If We Lose This Game..

...and we're down by 10 now with 4 minutes left, it's because Scott Skiles couldn't come up with a decent 4th quarter rotation to save his life (and hopefully his job). Duhon plays the first eight minutes of the quarter. Gordon sits the first six minutes. Ty is in and out like a frickin' yo-yo. Nocioni plays center. If they beat us with our best players on the floor, fine. But with these freakin' lineups?

Fuck you, Skiles. Fuck you a thousand times.

yeah, that was a real doozy.

Like you said it's fine when they're going down with their best players, but they don't have enough margin for error to play poorly AND have the coach actin strange.

What a load of shit. How is Skiles to blame for 6 turnovers in the fourth quarter?

Blame Skiles all you want, the fact is that no one on this team has shown that they deserve crunch minutes.

Until someone steps up, I give Skiles free reign to be as creative as he wants with the rotation. Lets see more Khryapa, Gardner, Gray, Griffin, Noah and Sefolosha.

Bergie, if the past 3 years mean nothing to Skiles when he's coming up with these lineups then there's something seriously wrong.

I agree. Skiles definitely takes some of the blame. But to blame the loss entirely on Skiles is unfair. Everyone takes a slice of the responsibility pie for this start.

You're obviously right: There's plenty of blame to spread around, but Chris Duhon should not play more minutes than Ben Gordon in the fourth, I don't care how shaky Ben's been with the ball lately.

But, again, if we're going to go down--and we probably would've last night, Phoenix is a great team--I want to go down with Ty and Gordon in the lineup, playing major minutes down the stretch, and not with some newfangled "Noce Plays Center" concoction that Skiles just comes up with on the fly. That's simply bush league. (And Skiles recognized it, it lasted for about one minute, but its failure could obviously have been predicted and it didn't have to be demonstrated at a crucial point in the game.)
