So you're saying China isn't communist? Is that semantics? Or is it simply a derivative of communism? I guess this isn't the place to discuss it; I'll look it up on my own.
Ty, the abbreviated answer is: Yes, China is still Communist politically (i.e., there's only one politcal party, the Communist Party, they have Cominterns, etc.). But economically, they are much closer to what's been called authoritarian capitalism. Kinda the worst of both worlds.
you could almost label the current Chinese system as fascism.
