Pax's awesome plan begins to unfold

Let the Doug Collins era begin! I mean continue or begin again. To be reborn.

Oh god, Pax has no idea what he's doing. Ok, I'm starting to freak out a bit. If we're just trying to help people out, Norm Van Lear would totally be an assistant coach.

I'm assuming Hubie Brown turned us down.

LOL. I get those random panic attacks as well. At least a #1 pick masks a lot of mistakes.

I guess we're lucky Bill Fitch wasn't available.

Also, what Hayes said.

You guys sound like assclowns.

Dude he's not here for the long run he's here to teach the youngest team in the NBA and if they can win then more power to them but if they keep the draft pick you get even younger.

My point is the idea of winning a title in the next two seasons seems to be far fetched.

Collins is just what he was years ago. Point A to point B.

The way I see it is if they do hire Jeff Hornacek as the lead assistant then they don't think they can win for a few seasons so why not let him get some time on the bench with Doug.

I don't really like Collins either but I'm willing to give it a chance.

You just have to hope he's mellowed out in his older age.

So, wait 2-3 years before the real coach takes over (if he's lucky enough to not be perceived as poorly as Doug)? It's just like waiting for Ben Gordon and the real lineup to show up in the middle of the 1st quarter, and it sucks.
