MLE
We won't know how much it will be until Wednesday, when the cap is released, but we do know the Bullies have their eyes on Smith, M. Moore and Mihm.
Mihm's injury problems make him the least desirable in my view, although we might be able to sign him for just one year. Moore was pretty money down the stretch (or maybe his torching of us in game 82 is just emblazoned on my brain) and it appears NJ won't match anything over 4 mil. Smith could fill the Peej veteran role for cheaper if/when Peej retires, and is more athletic. He also had decent numbers (9 and 7 or so) in limited action last year.
Anyone else I'm missing? Thoughts?

Looks like Mikki will be pursued by several teams (Houston comes to mind). I'm sure his accountant is thrilled.
The thing I'm concerned about is that none of these guys help with our low-post scoring problem in any significant way. Smith and Moore are nice role players (Mihm much less so), but that's all they are. I just can't get excited about any of these guys. It seems to me that if we want to address the lack of low post scoring, it's going to have to come through a trade.
If you can get Mihm for 3/4 mil at 3 years, you have to do it. He's 28, you know players can come back from ankle injuries, and you're gonna get 10/6 and a block in 25 minutes. Plus he's a legit 7 footer with post moves.
Ok, that was my best Hubie impersonation.
I say try to get Mihm for the above price and use the rest on Joe Smith.
Mikki Moore is real nice, but he's an energy/hustle guy - same skill set (although more developed) minus freakness, as Ty.
B. Wallace
Ty
Noah
Mihm
Joe Smith
Nice rotation of bigs if you ask me. No more getting killed cause of
size problems. That rotation with Noce at the 4 at little bit and we keep Hinrich/Gordon/Sefo/Deng/Noce.
Whew! That's a second squad that could win a lot of games.
I'm worried about the Rapts thought.
I'm actually worried about the Heat if they can somehow pull off Ira Winderman's dream of signing Mo Williams with the MLE and then trading Jason Williams' expiring contract to the Clippers for Corey Magette. The former seems likely, the latter much less so, but still in the realm of the conceivable. That would be a pretty tough starting five.
